Arab Investment team visits Mauritania By agencies NOUAKCHOTT , Mauritania - A mission of the Arab Organization for the Guarantee of Investments and Credits in Favor of Exports (OAGICE), led by its General Manager Sahd Rachid Al Ibrahim, arrived in Mauritania's capital, Noukchott, on Tuesday, official sources disclosed. The visit is on the invitation of the ministry of economic affairs and development and aims at strengthening relations between Mauritania and the inter-Arab body, the chair of the Mauritanian Commerce and Industry, Mohamedou Ould Mohamed Mahmoud, said in a statement. During the visit, meetings aimed at familiarizing banks, businessmen and Mauritanian economic operators with the institution will be held. The mission will equally take into account the needs of the public sector in terms of importation of industrial fertilizers, strategic machines and products and will discuss opportunities to set-up credits to be granted by the institution.
